We recieved a request from Jennifer Evans a student at the University of Toronto who is doing her PHD. Read Jennifers comments below and if you are interested please contact Jennifer to arrange for an interview. Jennifer is also happy to answer any of your questions.
My name is Jennifer Evans, and I am PhD candidate at the University of Toronto. As part of the requirements for this graduate program, I must complete a dissertation. My dissertation will examine the food (including cooking, cookbooks, grocery shopping and gardening) and life experiences of women living in northern Ontario during the postwar period (1945-1975). To look at these issues, I will conduct 70 to 80 oral history interviews to listen to and learn about women's experiences. For more information, please contact Jennifer Evans at j.evans@utoronto.ca or (416) 929-2301.
